10 great website designs 2020

Wiredfresh

Great art inspires artists to create, as great web designs inspire designers. Here’s a list of 10 great web designs of 2020 to offer some inspiration for your next project.

1.) Logimax

Logimax is a Czech company passionate about gin & tonic, and the website design and home page animated scroll are magnificent.

This website screams lets have fun and party… as a gin & tonic website should! Their colourful and fun branded bottles are animated and flow as you scroll the site, giving a pure positive vibe throughout the website.

Overall, this is one dynamic website design with nice use of chunky font, chunky 3D colour blocks and the background that morphs into colours that match the bottle branding is excellent. The main navigation, well they couldn’t be any more 2020 bold and simple if they tried. One very fun web design for 2020.

2.) Simply chocolate

Simply Chocolate turned branding into fine art. A perfected balance of branding & design, with an unrivaled home page scrolling presentation.

Simply Chocolate from Copenhagen Denmark’s branding and web design is just unrivaled, just oozes smart Nordic marketing. The way the home page scrolls unveiling each chocolate bar with its matching colour scheme & ingredients flowing on white space below is simply beautiful.

A perfect balance of all-natural chocolate with tantalizing ingredients, and eye candy design with a funny twist to make the consumer smile while they say YUM. The animated side cart is a smart and non-obtrusive way to let users jump in and out of their chocolate box shopping.

Simply Chocolate is one of the best web designs 2020.

3.) Agora

Agora is a new Argentinian payment system website that just glows and flows, a stunning animated home page presentation.

Agora is a new Argentinian payment method, based on an app and a free VISA rechargeable card, without banks. And their service rewards people for their purchases.

This has to be one of the best animated scroll effect home page designs out there. The use of aqua colour just jumps out at you yet they blended the design elements into the aqua perfectly, with just a few touches of colour as you scroll. The designs message is clear and explains the product perfectly, an excellent example of great web design for 2020.

4.) Kombu

Okay… so it’s from last year, but for a nice clean website and branding Kombu French drinks look fantastic.

Kombu is such a great web design, another example of design that exudes brand identity. The Home page has a horizontal scroll with graphics that flow with the product graphics perfectly, with the natural ingredients flowing with each product. This website design has the same perfection as Simply Chocolate.

The menu on the Kombu website is literally a design dream! They implemented a full screen menu with chunky page links on the left with just awesome scrolling animation on the right on each page, and done to perfection. This website is inspiration for any designer.

5.) Tatra Tea

Tatratea… from branding to visual representation, this Slovakian spirit company is just impressive in so many ways, take a look.

Here at Wiredfresh we’ve had many fun memories with tasty Tatratea. As their website is also amazing, we have to add them to our best web designs 2020 list.

From the vertical accordion effect to show off their range of bottles, to their very impressive videos, the Tatratea website is visually stunning.

Tatra tea is seriously proud of their band and they have visually represented this on their website to perfection. From their ‘Heart Story’ video, to the ‘Origin / Survival / Rebirth’ section explaining the Slovak history of tea to the birth of Tatratea.

What really is impressive is their Heartmix section, showing 7 cocktail mix recipe videos that make you want to delve in and get mixing.

6.) Studioart

Studioart is a new Italian website for indoor & outdoor leather upholstery, a fantastic website using many new 2020 design trends.

Studioart is a great example of the latest 2020 design trends. The home page uses a full screen slider including a 2020 trending split screen design, and the latest trends continue as you scroll with large floating images and chunky text, ending with a nice sliding portfolio and chunky footer.

The website has a top link for ordering swatches that leads to a full screen form, and the main menu button opens up a full split-screen menu, perfect for an interior design style company.
Overall, an excellent example of simplistic 2020 web design trends.

7.) Art Academy

Art Academy is another fine Italian example of getting it right, they paid attention to design trends, simple, bold and expressive.

This Italian restaurant website may be simple but it is definitely well designed and also uses some of the latest 2020 website design trends.

The home page starts off with a softly animated split-screen and scrolls to reveal chunky text & images on clean white… very 2020 indeed.

Restaurant menu pages are usually noneventful but on Art Academy they look great. Overall and very simple restaurant website with a great designer behind it.

8.) Via Copenhagen

Just a bit of great Scandinavian design goes a long way, especially when it’s presented nicely.

The home page of Via Copenhagen uses a gorgeous ‘scrollify’ effect. In today’s digital frenzy it’s smart marketing to get your message across fast. The first few second’s matter and Via Copenhagen got it right.

First you see a black & white 3-part image that says ‘We’re passionate about our work’ and then as you scroll the neutral coloured rooms change showing their gorgeous Scandinavian furniture designs. And of course, with a simple store locator icon top right so you can find a location.

9.) Upciti

Hungarian real estate company with a super smooth site using the latest design trends.

Upciti website starts with a nice drone video over Budapest, and starting with video is always engaging. Personally, we would have been a bit more creative with the video, but is a good start. The site then scrolls right into nice chunky animated images and bold yellow headers, followed by offers, blog and ends with chunky call to action contact form, good job.

The search for properties sidebar is designed to match the site and works really well, a responsive search that loads properties instantly as you slide your budget cost. Usually real estate agent websites are nothing to show off, but Upciti was done nicely.

10.) Pollycole

And finally, some random creativity… meet Polly Kole, a Russian artist, and her Bladerunner style 3D environment.

Last but not least with give you Polly Kole, a young Russian contemporary artist. We love Lego as you’ve probably seen on our web design & development pages, and so does Polly Kole. She is featured on Saachi Art and has a workshop in Moscow. The designer obviously loves Polly’s work and has designed her an amazing 3D animated world… called Pollyworld.

For a 3D animated website it loads nice and fast, and the flow through to different pages / scenes is impressive. This website has sound, this usually is a big no with any website, but for Polly Kole it works and isn’t obtrusive. Polly Kole website is a nice experience and we recommend you take a look and flow through Pollyworld.
